Academic Guidance and Mentoring Area
At UTAMED, we understand that every educational journey is unique. That is why, in the Academic Guidance and Mentoring Area, we accompany students through all stages of their education, strengthening their academic, personal, and professional development within a 100% virtual environment.
From the moment they enrol, each student is assigned an academic mentor who guides them in planning their educational path, choosing subjects and managing their time, taking into account their needs, interests and personal circumstances.
Our mentoring team also supports the development of cross-cutting skills, the construction of a professional profile, and the definition of career goals aligned with current market demands. At UTAMED, we train people to learn continuously, take on new challenges, and build meaningful life projects.
External Academic Internships and
Career Guidance Area
The main purpose of the External Academic Internships and Career Guidance Department is to ensure that each student can undertake an internship at a partner organisation that is in line with their education and professional interests.
In addition, we offer personalised support throughout the process, resolving any issues and designing, in coordination with the Academic Guidance and Mentoring Department, a training itinerary tailored to each profile.
Each student has an internship manager, with whom they can communicate directly through various channels. This person guides and advises on the assignment of the internship centre, taking into account both the student's aspirations and the opportunities in the job market.
We know that many of our students have to balance their studies with work or family responsibilities. That is why at UTAMED we adapt to their needs so that they can enjoy a flexible, enriching and personalised internship experience.
We also collaborate with a wide network of companies and institutions to ensure a high employability rate and professional integration for our students. In this area, we promote career guidance activities, advice on CV writing, interview preparation, employability workshops and meetings with employers, thus facilitating their successful transition into the world of work.
Support systems for enrolled students
At UTAMED, we know that academic success in a virtual environment depends on constant support and guidance tailored to each person's needs. That is why the Mentoring Department offers a comprehensive network of support systems designed to guide students from the moment they enrol until they complete their studies.
Our support is structured in different dimensions:
Advice on time management, curriculum planning and study techniques in digital environments. Includes the development of communication skills, stress management and exam preparation.
Strategies for integrating into the virtual education model, managing emotions and maintaining a balance between personal, work and academic life. We promote adaptation, well-being, and motivation throughout the educational process.
Advice on defining career goals, strengthening professional profiles and accessing complementary training opportunities. We help build a development and employability pathway tailored to each student's goals.
Proactive monitoring of academic progress, early detection of needs and coordination with other institutional areas. This ensures comprehensive responses that promote continuity and academic success.
We promote inclusion and equal opportunities through personalised adaptations, accessible resources and specialised mentoring, ensuring that each student can fully develop their academic, personal and professional potential.
