University-business
connection
The university-business connection represents one of UTAMED's differentiators. This institution actively works to promote degrees clearly connected with the requirements of the labour market, not only in terms of content, but also in terms of the training of skills demanded by the labour market. UTAMED's training offer involves ensuring that, in the development of the degrees, in their planning and methodological proposal, qualified voices from the business sector are actively listened to and accommodated.
UTAMED actively promotes the development of transfer projects based on the knowledge generated by research staff. This guarantees, in addition to the professional growth of the teaching staff, the impact on society of the research carried out at this University.
Strategic Alliances
At UTAMED, we are committed to an education that is closely aligned with the professional and social realities of today’s world. To this end, we have built a strong network of strategic alliances with companies, academic institutions, and national and international organisations that reinforce our educational model, drive innovation and facilitate knowledge transfer.
These collaborations enable us to develop up-to-date training programmes, joint research projects and tangible opportunities for professional growth for our university community. Discover how our alliances help generate impact, broaden horizons and enrich the educational experience at UTAMED.

Encourage the establishment of contracts and collaborations between universities and companies, which improve the quality of the degrees offered.
Generate a two-way knowledge flow between companies and universities. Promote the development of R&D projects.
Disseminate the results of the research carried out and their transfer to society, seeking an effective impact.

We developed our transfer project with the aim of contributing to digitalisation and boosting the competitiveness of the economy, seeking to respond to the great challenges of our society.
UTAMED's Active Projects
UTAMED promotes various international and institutional projects focused on educational innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainability. These initiatives reinforce the university's commitment to transformative education that is open to cooperation and aligned with European priorities regarding sustainable development, inclusion, and digitalization.
Through these projects, UTAMED collaborates with academic networks and leading organizations to promote applied research, practical learning, and the creation of knowledge ecosystems that foster the personal and professional growth of its university community.
Among the currently active projects, B-KINETIC (Bridge Knowledge to Innovation: Entrepreneurial Training into HEI Communities) stands out—an initiative funded by the European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT) that promotes sustainable entrepreneurship and innovation in higher education. At UTAMED, this project translates into concrete actions in training, international cooperation, and skills development that prepare students to lead the challenges of the future.
Business Chairs
The Business Chairs at UTAMED are the mechanism through which the training proposal of this institution is permanently connected with the business sector. This seeks to guarantee the continuous updating of the degrees offered and an effective connection with the skills and knowledge that are really required by the labour market. Through the promotion of the university – company connection, it becomes possible to offer degrees that help students to grow in their professional life.
Each UTAMED Business Chair is linked to a reference company in its sector, which acts as an element of connection between the training proposal and the requirements of the labour market.
