A bridge between the university and society
UTAMED's Social Council was created to serve as a strategic space for dialogue and cooperation between the university community and leading figures across the economic, social, institutional, and cultural spheres.
Its role is essential in guiding the growth of the university's mission, contributing an outside perspective grounded in the realities of its environment. It also helps consolidate an academic and innovative model at UTAMED that is committed to the European values of excellence, sustainability, social cohesion, and progress.
The Council takes part in the university's strategic direction and institutional outreach, strengthening UTAMED's real-world ties to Andalusia, the Mediterranean, and Europe, and fostering partnerships that expand the institution's academic, social, and economic impact.
