European alliance to promote
innovation and entrepreneurship
UTAMED participates in the B-KINETIC (Bridge Knowledge to Innovation: Entrepreneurial Training into HEI Communities) project, an initiative funded by the European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT) within the framework of the EIT Raw Materials Knowledge and Innovation Community.
The main objective of the project is to integrate innovation and entrepreneurship into European higher education institutions, generating a positive impact on students, researchers and academic staff. Through collaboration between universities and the implementation of joint training programmes and events, B-KINETIC seeks to strengthen the capacities of university communities to become active agents of change.
The project's strategy is based on integration, structured learning and active participation, while also promoting equal opportunities and gender inclusion. The aim is to foster a sustainable and innovative university ecosystem that transcends the duration of the project itself and guarantees lasting results in the training and development of entrepreneurial talent.
Sustainable Entrepreneurship in the 21st Century Course
As part of B-KINETIC, UTAMED is developing this online training programme designed to train university students to become entrepreneurial, innovative and inclusive professionals capable of driving sustainable transformation in their fields of activity.
The course combines a practical, collaborative approach based on real challenges, fostering creativity, entrepreneurial thinking and a commitment to sustainability. Its design is aligned with the European frameworks EntreComp (entrepreneurial competences), GreenComp (sustainability competences) and LifeComp (personal and social competences), ensuring comprehensive training tailored to the priorities of the European Union.
Thanks to UTAMED's flexible online model, the programme promotes equal access to knowledge, encouraging the participation of students who are disadvantaged due to gender, geographical location or disability. With this initiative, the university reaffirms its commitment to transformative, inclusive and future-oriented education.
Throughout the six units of the course, students will explore the fundamentals and practical applications of sustainable entrepreneurship:
Conceptual, legal and ethical principles of responsible entrepreneurship.
Identification of opportunities, networks, and key players.
Generating and testing disruptive solutions.
Planning, management and economic sustainability.
Design of competitive value propositions.
Communication, leadership, and project scalability.
